OkayAfrica - Summer Stage, Central Park. NYC

I was at the summer stage at Central Park on that warm summer evening to photograph Ibeyi (another amazing group!). After Ibeyi’s performance, I was standing side-stage talking with the producers of Okay Africa about how great the performance was and details about when to meet again to go through the images. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw these beautiful images of Jungle happening and couldn’t resist! I gently excused myself, snapped a few images just for myself, and then returned to our conversation. I loved the light and mystery that I saw before me and I just couldn’t let these images go without capturing a few!
