**As a music photographer**, I take time before each session to really get to know each artist. It is no different when working with families.
**It’s an experience.**
***We start with a conversation.*** We get to know each other. I send you a mini form/questionnaire to learn about you and your style or we simply chat by phone. I find out what you are like with each other, what you like to do, your style, and get into your world a bit. We then pick a date and set up the best session that suits you and your budget.
Next we decide on a location. It could be your own home. It could be a studio. It could be a stylized location that gives the feel of a Rock Album Cover!
Until shoot day, we chat back and forth about wardrobe, style, come up with just the right look to tell your story. We may text or email pics back and forth. We may decide to add in a wardrobe stylist, hair and makeup - depending on what feels best and most natural for your family. We may also have everything set on that first phone call and then just touch base right before your day.
**Shoot Day!** We meet for our session! This day is usually filled with laughter, creativity, and fun. I live for the shoot days. My goal is to create a fun and relaxing environment, so that it feels more like we are hanging out and chatting.
In 2 weeks, I send you your gallery and a mini video to demo the Shootproof gallery. We can also meet again by zoom or in person to go over the images together. I find it helps to meet together to look at proofs, because we are able to bounce ideas back and forth. If you are looking for wall art, I can create mock-ups to demo how the images will actually look in your home. We can go through frame options, displays, and digital work.
**Finally:** You receive your gift of images! It may include mostly high-res digital images for your use everywhere, and it may include Fine Art Framed artwork for your home.
Sessions begin at $850 ($725 for weekday sessions before 4p)
